Fly The Flag Program
Next Holiday - Monday, September 6th, Labor Day
Join
the Roswell Lions Club as we work to return old-fashioned American
Patriotism to our community. We are offering a "Fly the Flag"
program as a service to you and the community. We will support your efforts
to fly the American flag on seven of the most important national holidays
each year. The Roswell Lions Club will install the display hardware at your
direction and each holiday a member of our club will put up the flag, take
it down and store it until the next designated holiday. When you display the
flag you are letting the public know that you care and together our efforts
will confirm to everyone that we believe in America and support its
traditions and freedoms. The eight holidays are: President's Day/February,
Memorial Day/May, Flag Day/June, Independence Day/July, Labor Day/September,
September 11th, Columbus Day/October and Veterans Day/November. For more information on this
fundraiser, email For more information on this fundraiser or if you would like to be added
to our mailing list, email Flytheflag @ roswelllions.org |
